Ruby E. Reed, a homemaker, age 70, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2008 at her residence.  She was born in Forsyth, Georgia and had lived in Perry for 15 years. 

She was the daughter of the late Clarence Williams and the late former Verdie Mae Grubbs Williams. Mrs. Reed was a member of the Lighthouse Revival Center and enjoyed reading, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survived by (2) sons; Norman Ray Erwin Jr., Jimmy Erwin and wife Patricia, (2) daughters; Debra Reed and husband Thomas, Darla Ross and husband James, all of Perry, Fl., (3) brothers;Herschel Williams of Macon, Ga, Wesley William of Jacksonville, Fl, and Curtis Williams of Forsyth, Ga., (3) sisters; Dorothy Dorsey of Forsyth, Ga, Myrtice Jennings of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Bernice Williamson of Fayette, Arkansas,  (9) grandchildren,  (6) great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held at the Lighthouse Revival Center at 5:00 P.M. with Bro. Dennis Nobles officiating.  Family received friends on Sunday evening from 6 pm –

8 pm at Burns Chapel.Joe P. Burns Funeral Home in Perry is in charge of all the arrangements.
